Under the Stars

This piece was written originally on January 22 after walking back from church, having just learned about astrophotography on the phone.
Look closely,
To a blind eye it seems empty,
To a bright eye it's full of mystery,
To a dosed heart it speaks blasphemy,
And to an open one it caresses gently.
Looking down from there, lovingly,
With no doubt and full of humility.
The Pantocrator, full of mercy,
The Beloved Savior to whoever knocks faithfully.
Oh, if only I can soar upwardly,
And on eagle's winds ride swiftly,
To hide in His bosom for eternity,
And speak words full of mystery.
