This piece was originally written on July 22, 2019 at a Kaiser Permanente Internship. I had no work to do and free time to study, and this poem came to me as I was finishing my stack of required flashcards for my AP English Literature class for the 2019-2020 year. Although I never used the flashcards ever again or since then, I am glad this inspired this poem

One half down, one more to go

Little by little, my knowledge will grow

It sounds really hard and progress is slow

But in the end, the results will glow

Don't give up on dreams of long ago

Work hard, stay humble, to anger be slow

And make sure goodness will always flow

That's how you make succeed in whatever you do.

For with God, nothing will be impossible for you.
